I recently went to Greece, which in case you don’t know is technically like a home to me as I am half Greek (my dad’s side)

My parents have a villa in a beautiful place called Porto Heli, so I always try and go and have a relaxing holiday there at least once a year!

This time when I went I shot a summer style lookbook with one of my favourite brands, Pretty Little Thing.  These are some of my favourite summer pieces I have selected from PLT. These pieces are perfect to wear on holiday, and some of them are a little bit festival-esque too! I hope you like my lookbook 🙂

Not joking this is my favourite bikini EVER! I just find the fit perfect, and I love that rather than showing a bit of cleavage it shows underboob instead, which seems to be quite popular at the moment.

Unfortunately the silver belt has now sold out. But they have similar stuff: here

white fur cuffs top

I am a big lover of anything fluffy, so trust me even in a summer lookbook to find in a way to work in a top with fur cuff sleeves! I absolutely fell in love with this top as soon as I saw it. The beautiful white lace is so pretty and delicate and the fur cuffs add such a uniqueness to it.

How beautiful is that sky behind me?! Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen better sunsets then the ones in Greece.

Unfortunately these gorgeous floral print trousers have now sold out, but the top is still available: here

Blogger Babe Events London

blogger babe events londonSo I am super excited to reveal that I have just launched my very own event company – Blogger Babe Events London

BB Events London specialises in organising spectacular events for Bloggers – cohesively connecting brands and influencers together.

 FASHION|FOOD|LIFESTYLE|TRAVEL

Our events are predominantly London based, however we will be organising several international blogger trips and events.

Why did I start this?

After working in Marketing and Events for a number of years before becoming a blogger, I have experience in both sides of the industry from what it takes to plan and run an excellent event. & of course being a blogger I have plenty of experience in attending events. On average I attend 2/3 events per week so am able to see what works best and what format of events are most successful with fellow bloggers.

Over my time in blogging I have established several relationships with both brands and influencers and therefore have what I need at my fingertips.

With influencers becoming one of the most powerful tools for a brand to reach their consumer, it is a very exciting industry to be in.

What do we do?

We organise most types of events, from small intimate dinners at a top London restaurant to a full travel campaign abroad.

We have access to some of the top influencers around and can guarantee a huge audience reach for every event we organise.

Every event is tailored specifically to the bloggers and the brands participating. We curate every fine details and each and every event is unique.

Surprise New Years Eve trip to Amsterdam!

New Years in Amsterdam!

So this New Years eve I had absolutely no idea what I was doing as my boyfriend had planned everything, and on Christmas day he handed me a big black box with a masquerade mask in and some tickets to Amsterdam!

We stayed for 4 days at the amazing 5* Hotel Sofitel the Grand right in the centre and had just the best time ever!

On New Years eve we spent the night at the hotel and experienced our first ever masquerade ball. It was such a beautiful grand hotel and the ball was amazing, everyone was really dressed up and you weren’t allowed in unless you were wearing a mask so it was nice that everyone was in ‘costume’.hotel grand sofitel amsterdamWe also experienced some excellent food – we visited two ‘tasting menu’ restaurants ‘Senses‘ and ‘Envy‘.

Both restaurants consisted of 6+ courses of delicious combinations of flavours and textures.

Our courses from Envy:

( I’ve written below the photo roundabout what was in them if I remember haha)

Oysters with yoghurt, chilli and roasted spring onions.

Mussels and razor clams with a creamy lemon sauce

Salmon paired with a soup inspired by Indian spices

Traditional steak tartare

Braised short rib with jerusalem artichoke and roasted mustard seeds

Mushroom with nori seaweed cracker

Mushroom miso soup

Selection of 6 cheeses with toasted almonds and honey glazed cashew nuts

Cinnamon and poached pear and coffee dessert (delicious!)

Our courses from Senses:

I can’t really explain the texture of what looks like bread – it was like a foamy biscuit and the filling was sun dried tomato and something else I can’t remember.

Each 3 of these little treats were pumpkin based.

Quite literally the most delicious bread and butter I have ever had. The butter, oil and salt was all infused with lemon and I’m not sure what else but it tasted AMAZING!

Salmon with different toppings including seaweed and pickles.

Chicken with roasted chestnuts, parmesan and truffle (my favourite)

Oxcheek with season vegetables

Kaffir lime ice balls

Coffee and hazelnut

Aside from the food the shopping in Amsterdam was also so good. The nine lines were great as they had a lot of independent boutiques and a lot of vintage stores. I managed to find a great oversized denim jacket which I have been looking for all my life.

The high-street is great as well it has literally every single shop you could want.

I also loved the fact that everywhere was walking distance, literally everywhere we wanted to go to was always no more than a 10 minute walk away.

All in all it was an amazing trip and I will certainly be paying a visit to Amsterdam again.

Lastly – I just want to say I’m sorry for the lack in my posting lately, some people may not think it but blogging is actually a super busy job and sometimes things do get a bit much and I can find it hard to keep on top of things. BUT with that said it’s a new year and one of my goals is to make sure I post back to how often I used to, every Wednesday and Sunday. I promise to keep it up too so please keep on supporting and reading as without you guys I wouldn’t be able to be doing my dream job so I thank everyone that takes the time to follow me and read my posts 🙂

My trip to Marrakech

A couple of weeks ago I went to Marrakech for the first time and it was honestly so amazing I will definitely be going back.

We stayed in a 5* hotel called ‘Kenzi Club Agdal Medina’ and it was about 5 minutes from the airport, which was perfect.

We stayed in a junior suite room, which included a private pool.

FYI – Some of the photos in this blog post aren’t my own but that of the places featured as my own photos haven’t done them justice.

The hotel was all inclusive and had such an amazing selection of food every day but we still wanted to explore so ventured out a couple of nights.

One evening we went to a place called Kosy Bar which was a gorgeous roof top bar and restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious and it is a must to go and watch the sun set!

The hotel had a gorgeous spa where we enjoyed a Moroccan Hammam bath and massage.

The highlight of our trip was without a doubt the  oldest restaurant in Marrakech, Dar Yacout

I cannot stress how much you need to visit it if you are going to Marrakech.

Greeted by an old man, he unlocks a large iron door before someone leads you up the steps in what looks like a beautiful Moroccan house. You are then taken up to a roof top bar to listen to live traditional music whilst enjoying a drink of your choice before being taken down to THE most beautiful restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Endless amounts of food and wine and excellent service! Honestly photos do not do it justice.

On our last day we visited a Souk (a market) where we found an array of stalls selling spices, foods, colourful materials and all sorts.

We also visited the YSL gardens (Jardein Majorelle) which were stunning.
