My trip to Marrakech

A couple of weeks ago I went to Marrakech for the first time and it was honestly so amazing I will definitely be going back.

We stayed in a 5* hotel called ‘Kenzi Club Agdal Medina’ and it was about 5 minutes from the airport, which was perfect.

We stayed in a junior suite room, which included a private pool.

FYI – Some of the photos in this blog post aren’t my own but that of the places featured as my own photos haven’t done them justice.

The hotel was all inclusive and had such an amazing selection of food every day but we still wanted to explore so ventured out a couple of nights.

One evening we went to a place called Kosy Bar which was a gorgeous roof top bar and restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious and it is a must to go and watch the sun set!

The hotel had a gorgeous spa where we enjoyed a Moroccan Hammam bath and massage.

The highlight of our trip was without a doubt the  oldest restaurant in Marrakech, Dar Yacout

I cannot stress how much you need to visit it if you are going to Marrakech.

Greeted by an old man, he unlocks a large iron door before someone leads you up the steps in what looks like a beautiful Moroccan house. You are then taken up to a roof top bar to listen to live traditional music whilst enjoying a drink of your choice before being taken down to THE most beautiful restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Endless amounts of food and wine and excellent service! Honestly photos do not do it justice.

On our last day we visited a Souk (a market) where we found an array of stalls selling spices, foods, colourful materials and all sorts.

We also visited the YSL gardens (Jardein Majorelle) which were stunning.

Fun in the sun

Once again I can’t stay away from those nudes, this time with a colourful splash of turquoise in the mix.

This dress is from the Missguided Premium range and was the perfect outfit for some fun in the sun.

It’s nice and light and the colour palette is perfect for serious holiday vibes, it would also work well as festival attire.

I teamed the mesh dress with a nude bodysuit and some of my fav nude lace up heels.

This post is focused on the perfect beach and pool wear.

I recently spent the week in Marrakech and it was literally amazing, nearly 40 degrees every day – absolute bliss!

I’ve been lucky enough to work with some great brands recently to show you guys some perfect holiday pieces.

The above was one of my favourite looks, lace flares are such a perfect stylish cover up for the day or to go out at night in.

All the above bikinis are from my babes at Missguided.

Missguided and A Bikini a Day recently collaborated to create ABADXMISSGUIDED and the result is SO good.

I love the strappy details of the bikini, maybe my tan lines don’t love it so much though.

The pink one is just too cute with the mesh cover up top <3

This pink swimsuit and white kimono are from MissPap including the sunnies! MissPap have an insane affordable holiday selection, go check them out now!

All that shines

I have just got back from the most amazing trip to Marrakech!

Expect a detailed blog post about it soon… the country is so beautiful I managed to get lots of great content whilst I was there and can’t wait to share with you all about it!

As I have mentioned before, lace up shoes are a MUST HAVE this summer. I couldn’t resist these bad boys from Missguided, so much so I got them in a pink colour as well 😀

They are right on trend with the perspex heel and long laces, as well as being really comfy and easy to walk in.

This is my new favourite bag – I love the similarity it has with the ever so popular Chloe bags and the fringe details sets it aside from your standard black shoulder bag.

I am like a magpie when it comes to all things shiny! Any satin or silk material I instantly fall in love with.

My playsuit in this post is from Pretty Little Thing and was a great holiday piece. The olive colour is lovely and looks great with a tan.

Unfortunately for me this was taken at the beginning of the holiday so I am still a little pale haha.
