How to style a Bardot

Heads up – Bardot tops are where it’s at this summer!

Simple and comfortable, these style tops are the perfect way to dress for the heat in the coming months.

The off the shoulder top is feminine and adds a grace of elegance to your outfit.

This particular gorgeous red lace number is cropped, so I paired with some high waisted jeans. It would also go perfectly with a high waisted skirt or denim shorts.

I am so glad chokers have come into my life and especially this one from Lamoda. It’s amazing how such a small accessory can transform the look and feel of what you’re wearing completely.

For me it’s about maintaining an edge to my look, as my style has never been super feminine so it contrasts perfectly with lace and girly tops.

Mules are also set to be a must have this season. Comfortable and stylish, they are the perfect addition to your wardrobe.

A girl’s best friend…

Forget diamonds – a girl’s best friend is all things beauty!

I’m not one of those people that refuses to go out without makeup, I happily would. I don’t wear makeup because I feel hideous without it, but because I love it! There is something very therapeutic about pampering yourself, from daily skin care routine to applying makeup. It just makes you feel good.

I had said I was always going to blog about just fashion, with a little bit of food and travel here and there.. but I felt like doing a little beauty post to share with you my favourite beauty products.

So what’s in my make up bag? (Not all products are photographed)

Never bored of co-ords

Love this little black co-ord set from Boohoo. It is super comfy and really easy to wear with most things. It also comes in nude which I will be purchasing as soon as it is back in stock in my size!

I have gone for a casual look, however this would go great dressed up a little more with a pair of strappy heeled sandals or court shoes.

I was gutted when I didn’t get my hands on a pair of the Rihanna Puma creepers, but was delighted when Public Desire released these cute little dupes! They come in a range of colours – next on my list are the grey and dusty pink versions.
