Blogger Babe Events London

blogger babe events londonSo I am super excited to reveal that I have just launched my very own event company – Blogger Babe Events London

BB Events London specialises in organising spectacular events for Bloggers – cohesively connecting brands and influencers together.

 FASHION|FOOD|LIFESTYLE|TRAVEL

Our events are predominantly London based, however we will be organising several international blogger trips and events.

Why did I start this?

After working in Marketing and Events for a number of years before becoming a blogger, I have experience in both sides of the industry from what it takes to plan and run an excellent event. & of course being a blogger I have plenty of experience in attending events. On average I attend 2/3 events per week so am able to see what works best and what format of events are most successful with fellow bloggers.

Over my time in blogging I have established several relationships with both brands and influencers and therefore have what I need at my fingertips.

With influencers becoming one of the most powerful tools for a brand to reach their consumer, it is a very exciting industry to be in.

What do we do?

We organise most types of events, from small intimate dinners at a top London restaurant to a full travel campaign abroad.

We have access to some of the top influencers around and can guarantee a huge audience reach for every event we organise.

Every event is tailored specifically to the bloggers and the brands participating. We curate every fine details and each and every event is unique.

How to afford Luxury Designer Bags on a budget

how to afford designer bags

So today’s post is all about how to afford luxury designer bags if you are on a budget or just wanting to save yourself some money!

Believe it or not, there are plenty of ways to purchase designer bags without paying the full retail price for them.

You’d be surprised at the sort of bargains that are actually available out there. Being a BIG lover of designer bags I have for years been adding to my collection and discovering exciting little places to buy these bags and I am going to be sharing my secrets today with you lucky lot!

I’m not saying I haven’t paid full price for items and got them for the brands themselves because I have and I do love doing so. There is something very exciting about visiting these beautiful stores and picking out your item and receiving it in it’s beautiful packages with the dust bags, boxing and bag. However of course not all of us can afford to do that, or want to spend that kind of money which is why I have made today’s post!

I recently came across an instagram page that sells beautiful designer handbags at a very affordable price.

I was lucky enough to receive the beautiful red suede Gucci bag from them and the Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis bag.

They sell items at a big discounted price from full retail price so be sure to check them out. Their instagram page is > worldofbags

They have pretty much any bag you could wish for. Due to the fact they sell through instagram you make payment either over the phone or via bank transfer, but their delivery is super fast!

If you mention you have visited them after seeing my blog, and end up purchasing anything from them they will gift you with a free purse/wallet to match your bag! Just quote ‘Toula Rose’

Another AMAZING way to afford designer bags would be to buy them second hand.

I have got both this 100% genuine Louis Vuitton agenda diary and this beautiful backpack from an eBay seller who sells hundreds of second hand designer items. They have it all from vintage Chanel’s to pretty much brand new perfect condition Louis/Saint Laurent etc!

My favoured ebay seller is: Quality from Japan

I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough for designer items, they are so affordable!

Just have a look below at my gorgeous backpack I got from them!

Be sure to check them out if you want a safe way of buying bags that you know will be authentic and you know you are protected by eBay and by Paypal!

Another great place to buy designer bags other than eBay that I would really recommend would be the Vestiaire Collective

They are an official second hand designer luxury goods site, the only thing about them is you may pay a little more than if you were to get your stuff on ebay.

I hope you guys enjoyed the post!

Happy Bag shopping!

Dress for Spring with Topshop’s Spring Dresses

It’s that wonderful time of year again – Spring! You know it’s Spring time when the beautiful cherry blossom trees are full and my favourite flowers (peonies) are in season – yay!

Which also means we can start to look forward to warm Summer days and nights and that means we are also able to enjoy wearing dresses and not freeze to death!

Today’s post is all about the perfect Spring dresses. I have styled two dresses from one of my favourite brands of all time – Topshop.

One look is a day casual look, and one is a more dressy look that you could wear to a more formal event like a day at the races or even a night out.

If you haven’t heard already, Pink is this season’s hottest colour. I am super happy about this because honestly there is just something so likeable about pink, all colours of it from pale pastel pink to cherry pink. It is just one of those colours that brightens up your day and can genuinely lift your mood.

I styled this ribbed casual high neck dress with some trainers for the perfect off-duty day look.

I am honestly in love with this white ruffled dress. It’s so pretty and the details make it special. It has a mesh lining round the waist, bell sleeves, lace across the chest and beautiful embroidery. It’s really a dress for a special occasion.

When styling this look I took inspiration from the 80s trend. Ruffles and statement jewellery were a big part of 80s fashion and this dress and choker are the perfect combo to represent that.

I teamed my dress with some metallic lilac shoes and of course I couldn’t be without my most trusty accessory – a choker.

The perfect luxury lounge wear

loungewear

So I don’t know about you, but I am such a lover of my comfy clothing! As soon as I get home I instantly get changed into something nice and comfortable, and I have been absolutely loving my luxury lounge wear from Pretty You London.

They create the most beautiful luxury loungewear and slippers. How cute are the fluffy slippers I’m wearing? I am sucker for anything fluffy! They are really padded as well so feel lovely to walk in and are really supportive.

I got the two-piece in the colour Oyster and honestly the material is just so soft. I especially love their pieces as they are super unique, they have little embellishment detailing with real Swarovski crystals.

My favourite skincare products

I thought it was about time I do a post on my favourite skincare products that I use, so behold, I bring you my Top 7 must have skincare products I can’t live without at the moment!

I have never been an avid skincare user, I would always cleanse my face and moisturise day and night but that was about it. However since I have started blogging, I have been lucky enough to be sent quite a few products, which in turn got me more and more interested in looking after my skin and trying the various weird and wonderful products on the market.

I think there is a weird sort of distrust with the beauty industry in which we all just think it’s all fake and doesn’t actually work.. but there are genuinely good products out there and these have been tried and tested by myself and I love them so I hope you will too 🙂

I thankfully haven’t begun to see wrinkles yet, but the best way to prevent them is by using anti-ageing products so I have started to try anything that claims to anti-age. Wrinkles are easy to delay and prevent from appearing but once you’ve got them they can be super hard to get rid of. So believe me even if you’re under 20 I would highly recommend using products to prevent those lines!

1. Clinique Freshly Pressed 7 day treatment £25

I loved this Clinique product as it was something different, I’ve never seen anything like it before.

It is a simple two-step system containing pure Vitamin C in a fine powder, that activates when you mix it with your normal morning/night cream and you add it into the little pump and it squeezes a small amount out which is all you need. I use a bit each morning and it really brightens up my face. It is also meant to really help with anti-ageing which is always good!

charlotte tilbury skincare

2. Charlotte Tilbury Mask £45

I had heard so many good things about Charlotte Tilbury products but was a little bit put off by the price of £70 for the magic cream, so I opted to buy this mask instead which I got for £45 & I love it!

It’s a 3 in 1 product, you can use it as a 10 minute mask, a cleanser or balm. It is a gorgeous pink creamy consistency and smells beautiful.

derma roller

3. Swiss Clinic Derma Roller Skin Renewal £84

So this was something I was super excited to try as I have heard such good things about derma rollers. I’ve seen a couple of friends go and have it done at a clinic and had really good results, but it is so expensive so when I came across this ‘do it at home’ derma roller I wanted to try it. It comes with a special anti bacteria spray to ensure your skin and the roller and clean and then a skin renewal serum to apply after using the roller on your face. I use it every few days for a few minutes, rolling vertically and then horizontally across my face. The reason it helps is because it creates tiny holes in your face, forcing your skin to basically renew and create new fresh skin! Skin Renewal minimises fine lines, wrinkles and scars, makes skin firmer and smoother, improves elasticity and reduces enlarged pores.

clarins fake tan

4. Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster £20

Ok I promise you I am not just saying this, this is the best face fake tan you will ever use! You apply a few drops and mix it in with your night cream, apply to your face and just wait till the morning. You will literally look like you’ve been on holiday and been sun kissed. It gives you the complete perfect natural sun kissed glow. Every time I wear it someone will say my skin looks glowy! I just love it so much and couldn’t recommend it enough.

dr barbara sturm

5. Dr. Barbara Sturm Face cream £132

This is my current go-to face cream. Dr. Barbarba Sturm is a specialist in cosmetic medicine and has released this wonderful range of skincare. I feel like I just trust it so much more because there is a face behind the products and a professional face at that. Her products are inspired by her research into molecular medicine and are harnessed by the power of natural ingredients.

caudalie

6. Caudalie Elixir £49 + Caudalie Complexion correcting serum £45

Caudalie is another skincare brand I have always loved, since receiving the elixir free with a Vogue magazine subscription a couple of years back. It smells like roses and feels so soft on my skin I just love it. It is a dry oil so doesn’t make your skin feel too oily, it leaves it feeling perfectly soft and radiant.

The complexion correcting serum is also great, it’s perfect if you have dark spots on your skin as it directly targets them and evens out your skin tone.

pericone md

7. Perricone MD Cold Plasma £129  + Blue Plasma £79

These products may not smell amazing but they are truly worth the money. If you read about them online and see the reviews they speak for themselves, they really do help your skin.

Dr Perricone is a board-certified dermatologist and a world renowned anti ageing expert and his products are fantastic.

I try not to use it that often just because of how expensive it is but when I feel like my skin is a bit worse than usual I use the Cold Plasma after cleansing both morning and night.

& The Blue Plasma is a gentle daily peel that delivers the benefits of a traditional peel would but doesn’t have the inflammatory acids that can cause irritation. It basically gets rid of dead skin cells and unclogs your pores, purifying your skin.

I hope you enjoyed this post!
