So Spring is fully in swing! Kind of… not really.
But it’s April and the sun has made a few appearances so
my winter coats have been packed away and I refuse to get them out again.
It’s amazing what wearing colourful clothes can do to lift your mood and spirit, you don’t realise it but the smallest things really can affect your mood dramatically. For example a new set of nails, or a fresh wash and blow dry makes you feel like a whole new woman.
I feel like new clothes always do that for me. I feel so happy wearing a new outfit for the first time and am a massive sucker for anything pink so am in LOVE with this outfit.
I am dressed head to toe in Missguided – channelling my inner Kimmy K with the camel coat and pastel pinks we have seen her wear so often.
The camel coat is currently in the sale for £35 – so hurry!
The ribbed dress is sleeveless so perfect for a warm day or for a night out paired with some nude heels.
Not to mention how cute is the pink fluffy clutch bag?! I just had to have it when I saw it as I can’t resist a bit of fluff.

So meet my newest obsession… culottes.
Excuse the awful blog post title, but I really have been purchasing a lot of culotte trousers and couldn’t resist!
They are perfect now that the weather is warming up and we are able to show a bit of skin, or ankle in this case.
I love the olive colour of these, they go well with black and would also look great paired with a white top and shoes.
I am in love with these cat eyed sunglasses from Missguided – I have been lusting over a pair extremely similar from Dior so was very happy when I spotted these for £8 rather than paying out £230 for the Dior pair.
The shoes are from Topshop and I never thought I would see the day, but I am actually wearing kitten heels.
They are great when you want to get the look of wearing heels but not the discomfort as they are still super comfy due to the fact you are not raised more than a couple of centimetres from the ground haha.

So pleased the weather is finally starting to brighten up and it’s feeling a bit more like Spring! It means time to stop sticking to the safety net of dark colours and start wearing some nice bright and colourful pieces.
So here we have my first ‘summery’ feel outfit of the year…
When I saw this top it instantly caught my eye as it is quite unusual with the variation in length and ruching at the front.
I layered it with a black lace plunge bodysuit for a little bit of extra coverage as the top is quite revealing and some simple ripped black jeans and heeled boots.
I have a bit of an obsession with lace up shoes at the moment, which my bank account is not thanking me for. Oops.
The necklaces came as a set with the leather choker and 3 gold chains.
I don’t think you can ever go wrong with pairing black and white together, it’s a simple, classy and flattering contrast in colours.

This Easter bank holiday just gone I spent 3 nights in the capital of Greece, Athens. Whenever I usually go to Greece I never spend more than a few hours in the city before travelling to the islands so I wanted to really explore the city and get to know it a little better seeing as my dad grew up there.
I don’t think you will find a single Greek person who doesn’t love ice coffee. We stopped at the cutest little restaurant and enjoyed an Espresso Frappe with a gorgeous view of the Acropolis.
I love eating some traditional Greek food. Here we had fresh calamari, boiled octopus with olive oil and herbs and tzatziki.
What was amazing that literally within a couple of minutes from being in the busy streets in the city centre you could walk off and explore the cutest quirky lanes and streets.
Athens was covered in graffiti literally everywhere you looked. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that… I personally loved the contrast of the oldness of the cobbled streets with the spray painted artwork.
I cannot recommend anyone enough who is visiting Athens to book themselves a table at Aleria restaurant and order the wine pairing tasting menu!
The food was amazing, beautifully presented and the service was great. The restaurant had a cool vibe as it felt like you were in a house and only seats a few people so it is a very intimate environment.

This week’s Get the Look is a Gigi style steal!
I loved her outfit – super fierce yet elegant and of course, my favourite colour all black everythang!
The double buckle belt is one I wasn’t sure of at first, however I do keep seeing it around recently, so it looks like a trend set to go ahead.
Black cable knit jumpers are an absolute staple wardrobe piece, this one is slightly cropped so goes perfectly with a mini skirt or some high waisted jeans.
The duster jacket is nice and light weight, so something I will be wearing a lot more as the weather is (hopefully) getting warmer as we come into Spring.
