Putting things into perspex-tive

Putting things into perspex-tive

The infamous public desire perspex heel boots!

I just couldn’t resist the little beauties – they are nice and comfy and the heel height is perfect as they are still easy to walk in.

They are such a statement piece, they can transform any outfit, even if you paired them with a really simple, plain dress they would instantly change the look.

I think shoes are such a key part if not, the most important part of the final look of an outfit & these boots are a great example of what a difference shoes can make to your look.

My ribbed nude dress is from Missguided. I have had so many compliments on it when I wear it! It has quite a sexy feel to it with the thigh split and low cut neck, but I think it still manages to look classy on as I hate wearing anything too revealing.

Master the Monochrome

Master the Monochrome look

I can’t get enough of flared, cropped and wide leg trousers at the moment! I love how they can add a whole new dimension to your look and can literally change an outfit like mine above from something quite simple to instantly stylish.

My cropped trousers are from Angel Eye Fashion and are such a great addition to my wardrobe for every day workwear to a smart/casual outfit – they are simple and chic.

My beautiful bag is Alexander Wang – Rocco with rose gold studs.

I have been in-love with it since I bought it 2 years ago and it is pretty much constantly by my side. I like how it’s not too in your face ‘look at me I’m a designer bag’.

Camo me up

It seems that the fashion world is currently obsessed with camo print!

Camouflage was traditionally worn as more of an urban, street style and casual trend, but has most definitely now made it’s stamp in the main stream market and is available on pretty much every style of clothing you can imagine from tracksuits to coats to more formal wear such as dresses.

If you look at the latest collections in high-end brands such as Valentino, Saint Laurent and even at traditional brands such as Ralph Lauren you will see the much loved print!

Luckily for us fashion lovers with a slightly smaller budget, many stylish and affordable brands have adopted on this trend.

Khaki is such a great colour as it goes with so much and in my opinion, it suits everyone – I recommend teaming this jacket with white, nude or black for an ultimate colour match made in heaven.

I had been searching for the perfect camo jacket for a few months now, and I am glad I held out because this one from Miss Pap was certainly worth the wait!

It is lovely and lightweight and is a great way to dress up a simple and casual outfit.

Mesh is another trend that doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. The white mesh bodysuit I am wearing is such a style steal at only £15, also from Miss Pap.

So March into the Military trend and shop now!

A girl’s best friend…

Forget diamonds – a girl’s best friend is all things beauty!

I’m not one of those people that refuses to go out without makeup, I happily would. I don’t wear makeup because I feel hideous without it, but because I love it! There is something very therapeutic about pampering yourself, from daily skin care routine to applying makeup. It just makes you feel good.

I had said I was always going to blog about just fashion, with a little bit of food and travel here and there.. but I felt like doing a little beauty post to share with you my favourite beauty products.

Never bored of co-ords

Love this little black co-ord set from Boohoo. It is super comfy and really easy to wear with most things. It also comes in nude which I will be purchasing as soon as it is back in stock in my size!

I have gone for a casual look, however this would go great dressed up a little more with a pair of strappy heeled sandals or court shoes.

I was gutted when I didn’t get my hands on a pair of the Rihanna Puma creepers, but was delighted when Public Desire released these cute little dupes! They come in a range of colours – next on my list are the grey and dusty pink versions.

Leather jacket: Zara

Co-ord set: Boohoo

Creepers: Public Desire
